As a consultant, our rates are $150 per hour (Discounted for non-profits and churches) or for any 15 minute portion of an hour with a minimum of 30 minutes for any online, phone or video engagement. We charge one-way for travel with a minimum of 2 hours for any on-site visit (Including travel).

If our engagement with you requires the purchase of UniFi hardware or services, we CAN provide a discount for that hardware through a master distributor, authorized by Ubiquiti. However, though you will receive a lower rate for the product, UniFi only supplies a 1-year warranty on products that are not purchased directly. You can bypass this limitation by purchasing Ubiquiti's UI Care 5-year extended coverage plans. UI Care Extended Coverage is a great resource for companies that do not maintain backup "warm spare" devices on the shelf. Because we pass on the discount to you for any products purchased, we will either require a deposit in advance for products that you order, or for larger orders, we will connect you with our distributor for direct billing.

All consulting time surrounding the purchasing of the equipment, evaluating what was received, dealing with RMA of bad equipment, or working with warranty issues, will be billed to the customer as part of our consulting services. 

If we engage with an outside expert or other service company, we charge our hourly rate for any coordination of services and then a 15% contracting fee in addition to their service fees. These fees or hourly rates will be disclosed ahead of time so there are no surprises. We will bill for the service fees directly and then pay the contractors (Unless the outside service fees are fairly large, in which case we will arrange for you to pay the outside contractors directly).

All labor provided in CT will have applicable taxes collected. For states outside of CT, your organization will be responsible for any sales and use taxes that are owed for those services.
